Avenir Energie

Avenir Energie is based in France and is one of Europes’ leading manufacturers of domestic and light industrial Geothermal (Ground Source Heat Pumps) and Aerothermal, Air Source Heat Pumps. Avenirs’ systems are designed to heat your house in the winter, heat your swimming pool in the spring-autumn, provide your hot water requirements and cool the house in the summer.

Avenirs’ products are certified to the CSTB, Eurovent, Vivrélec and CE levels.

Avenir was established in 1996 and in 2005 sold 2,800 heat pumps achieving a turnover of €8.4 million. The Danfoss Group acquired a controlling interest in Avenir Energie on the 1st July 2006. Danfoss is a Danish group of companies that specialize in heating, cooling and control products. In 2005 Danfoss had a turnover of €2.2 Billion and employed 18,000 people worldwide.
